Bought a DA-1001 to go with my Revo in-car DAB. Improved things, but not enough to make me change my mind that in-car DAB just doesn't hack it at the moment. So far I've had the Revo internal glass mounted antenna, the Revo external rear-screen antenna and now the Kinetic in my bog-standard 2004 Mondeo.
You can't say I haven't tried, but it's a bit pathetic, really - at least in Kent. |

| You are welcome to return the aerial and connector for 100% refund if you don't want it and it's less than 45 days old. Thanks, dabonwheels |

Thanks Richard, but there's clearly nothing wrong with the aerial. It did improve things, but I just think that the whole issue of in-car DAB (indeed DAB in general) needs a good sort-out. The reception issues might just snatch defeat from the jaws of radio victory.
Maybe if I lived in a large city...................! |

You are still welcome to return the aerial and connector for 100% refund EVEN IF IT'S NOT FAULTY if you don't want it and it's less than 45 days old. Thanks, dabonwheels
P.S. You don't need to live in a large city. If you get good radio and aerial (e.g. JVC-KD-DB711 + Kinetic DRA-1001) DAB is literally miles better and streets ahead of FM (in-car). |

| I bought one of these to go on my blaupunkt nashville dab 47, that i have in my tractor.Used the stick on window type of antenna before which provided absolutely no reception, except on our very highest fields. Now with the kinetic antenna i have 100% reception and am yet to come across an area with no reception. Very very pleased with this item. |

| Used an FM aerial with plug adapter before, with average results. Kinetic aerial improved the reception greatly, with stations being received well outside their official range. The aerial is much smaller than I imagined, so it does not spoil the car too much. Installation is a bit pain, as the cable needs to be put behind the dashboard, and it is fixed to the aerial, meaning it needs to be driven from car's outside to the radio, rather than other way round what would be easier. After installed however, it's a pleasure to use. The only places it fails to work is when surrounded by tall buildings, and this is only with weaker muxes. |
